Disneyland Reminds Us How to Delight a Child

I just took my law student son and youth pastor son-in-law to Disneyland. It was exactly what my photochildren’s writer spirit needed. To see the sheer joy, costume, imagination, delight and laughter created by the expert, Walt Disney, got my engines going again. He knew how to tell a story, and give a child of any age a wonderful experience.

So now when I get a little bit blue about my writing, or get to a block, or procrastinate, all  I do is sing the tune to the Pirates of the Caribbean or Indiana Jones think about the children on Peter Pan, Space Mountain, or Cars, and I am back in the flow.

Thank you Disney, for inspiring so many, and giving joy and laughter to even more.
